Accucraft December News

Welcome to our December update.  We hope it is not too early to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year after what has been another challenging year for many of us.  Ongoing supply and shipping problems have caused our production and delivery timetable to shift several times and we apologise for the lateness of the 1:32 scale 43XX Mogul.  The good news is that progress has been made on the production of the 1:19 scale Peckett 0-4-0ST and a sample of the 1:19 scale ‘Lawley’ is being assembled.  We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to ‘The Clearing House’, as explained below, and remind you that one of the first exhibitions we will be attending in 2022 is the Midlands Garden Railway Show on 12th & 13th March.

‘The Clearing House’

We often get requests for items that are discontinued and similarly we get offered items to sell by customers or from estate sales.  Thus we are able to keep a list of requirements and available items, some of which are rare or hard to obtain.  We try to match up the two halves of this equation, either directly or via our dealers, with a view providing a useful service that ensures Accucraft and other locomotives and rolling stock find good homes.  Please contact us by ‘phone or email to discuss your requirements.  Some of the most sought after locomotives are our 1:32 scale 61XX 2-6-2T, the A1 4-6-2 Tornado and our 1:19 scale W&L Earl and Countess 0-6-0T so if you are thinking of parting with one, consider us first!

Here are a few choice items currently available, all for sale on behalf of known and trusted customers.  You can find The Clearing House on this page.
