Welcome to our February bulletin. This month will see the arrival of the first 100 ‘Large’ Quarry Hunslets in 1:19 (16mm) Scale. This initial batch is entirely pre-sold but we should have further supplies during March so please be patient! The factory has kindly supplied us with photos of liveries other than the lined Penrhyn sample we were originally sent.
Quarry Hunslets – due for delivery this month!
The more generous proportions of the ‘Large’ type Quarry Hunslets (as opposed to the smaller ‘Alice’ Class) will prove beneficial to the locomotive’s run-time although to avoid compromising the look of the model we will only be offering it in 32mm gauge. The model is gas-fired and fitted with a water top up valve, water check valve, miniature pressure gauge; constructed of stainless steel and etched brass with a copper boiler, the model will, as usual, be covered by our two-year warranty. The anticipated UK RRP is £1595.00 (subject to the usual provisos), available Q1 2021. As ever, we’d like to thank David Fletcher for his superb drawings, illustrating the livery options. In response to customer requests, we will be supplying the model with two chimney tops (both of which will be included), the factory original pattern and the Penrhyn Quarry type.
Accucraft Baldwin Mabel 0-6-0T Live Steam
Accucraft US is proud to announce our next freelance narrow gauge steam locomotive in 1:20.3 scale, 45mm gauge. The model is based on a 3ft gauge Baldwin style locomotive and will be available in both kit form and ready to run. Joining the ranks of the classic Ruby, Dora and Forney 0-4-4, we hope the Mabel brings the joy of live steam to both novices and experienced collectors alike. Special thanks to Marc Horovitz for our concept drawings. Due for delivery Q4 2021.

American Mainline GP60 Diesel in 1:29 Scale
Accucraft US are making progress on our long-awaited GP60 diesel project for 1:29 scale. With tooling complete and electronics in production, we hope to finish the sample soon and start production! UK RRP £575.00.
