Trackshack closure

It is with regret that we have to report that Trackshack on the Isle of Man has closed with immediate effect.

We have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with John Boyes and his team and watched the business grow from small beginnings into a major contender in the supply of garden railway equipment.  In that time Trackshack commissioned numerous bespoke projects from us and thus broadened the range and variety of items available to the hobby.  The firm quickly garnered a reputation for competitive prices and friendly and efficient service and we are most appreciative of the orderly way in which the operation is being shut down with pre-orders for Accucraft locomotives being transferred to us for direct supply.

We appreciate that those customers who placed forward orders with Trackshack may be concerned about the supply of their locomotives and have written a letter of comfort to them, outlining the way in which their goods will be supplied.  Covid-19 has caused an international hiatus which has had an impact on all model engineering firms and Accucraft UK is no exception. We must apologise for delays in releasing some future projects, Talyllyn Railway No.1 Talyllyn is in production at the factory right now and should be delivered in late September, this will be followed by the Large Quarry Hunslet during the winter with the Cavan & Leitrim 4-4-0T and the SAR Lawley 4-4-0 following on next year. If you have any concerns, our full terms and conditions are published on our website, please keep an eye on this for further updates concerning the release date of these models.
