GARRATT GAS TANK RECALL. Accucraft have issued a worldwide recall of all current Garratt gas tanks. This is because some people have been disregarding the instructions about the use of only warm water in the gas tank water bath, and they have been using boiling water, and Propane Mix gas. This takes the gas tank pressure to over the factory tested pressure of 300psi. Mindful of our responsibilities as manufacturers we have now obtained supplies of a redesigned tank which have been tested to 600psi. To obtain you new tank please remove your existing tank and return it to us. If you need instructions on tank removal/re-fitment go to the Accucraft USA web site at www.accucraft.com and you will find full instructions in words and pictures.

We will also send you free, the brand new Garratt high pressure, high capacity boiler top up system that has now just been received. This has a new design of fitting so you do not have to hold the filling hose in the boiler connection. These pump systems will only be sent out to people who return their gas tanks for replacement.

Please ensure you also include your name, address, the serial number of your Garratt, and the dealer from where you purchased it.
